An Introduction

Xena Warrior Princess was a spin off series from Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. The show aired on the USA Network from September 4, 1995 to May 21, 2001. The show stared Lucy Lawless as Xena and Renee O'Connor as Gabrielle.

As with Hercules the series was set in a fantasy ancient Greece with the same setting and time line situations. Xena's story began at the end of the first season of Hercules the Legendary Journeys. Xena appeared in the three episodes of the show, "The Warrior Princess", "The Gauntlet", and "Unchained Heart". By the end of "Unchained Heart" Hercules has changed Xena from bad to good and a new spin off was born. The show follows Xena along with Gabrielle on her quest for redemption from all the evil she has done in the past with her nemesis Ares always trying to get her back to evil and him.

Argo's Saddle Horn

Saddle horn used by Argo (Tilly) during the first 3 seasons of Xena. The saddle horn was made by the prop department of wood covered in leather and decorated with gold tacks. A total of 4 saddle horns were made each with a different tack design. The saddle horn can also be seen in Argo's cameo during the Hercules episode "Yes Virginia There is A Hercules". 

Gabrielle's Angel Sandals

Sandals worn by Gabrielle (Renee O'Connor) in the fifth season Xena episode "Fallen Angle". These are store bought sandals with feathers attached by the prop department.

Dahak Cultist Shield

Style of shield used by Dahak's cultist guards and Xena in the third season Xena episode "Sacrifice". The shield is made of detailed painted resin with two canvas straps attached to the back for carrying. The outer edge is wrapped around in a canvas material.
